…and if you ever spent hours playing Diablo, you probably know the feeling. I rather miss being able to fall into a game like I did with the first Diablo. It was gaming goodness. So imagine my surprise when I was digging through some old-old folders of mine on the server at work, and found tristram.mp3. I can’t even remember why I would have copied it over to the server, I must have been moving it from one machine to another.
Anyway, I believe this version is the Diablo II version, as it has some embellishments at the end of it that I don’t remember. I never played Diablo II, but popping this particular mp3 on still zips me right back to that delightful clickity-clickity-”oh my god I think I’m going to wear out my mouse button” place where I spent more than a few hours back in the day. I forget why I didn’t get into Diablo II very much. Most likely, it had to do with my personal life at the time being short on empty hours that I could fill up with mouse-clicking.
